Bert Newton has a Masters in Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has written a book entitled Subversive Wisdom; Sociopolitical Dimensions of John's Gospel. He also has a podcast entitled Bible Study; Parody and Subversion in Matthew's Gospel. He is also ordained through Pacific Southwest Mennonite Conference, is a "Ministry Associate" at Pasadena Mennonite Church, and works for a faith-based nonprofit promoting affordable housing.
